Precipitated from of sulphur is used in the treatment of scables.
The scabicidal effect is probably due to its conversion into hydrogen
sulfide and parathionic acid. In addition to its use in scabies, sulfur is
also employed in the treatment of other chronic skin conditions like psoriasis,
sebomhoea, ringworm and lupus erythemtosus. Sulfur ointment contains 10 percent
(25% in children) of sulfur in a simple ointment base. The ointment is to be rubbed
on the affected areas of the skin.

PRECAUTIONS
Because of its irritant nature sulfur ointment should not be applied over the face.
It stains the clothes and has a peculiar smell. Sulfur needs repeated applications to
be effective in the treatment of scabies.
STORAGE
Store in a well closed container and avoid prolonged exposure to exessive heat.

DIRECTION POR USE:
Wash the affected area with soap water& dry with clean cloth.
Apply AQUASULF ointment over the affected area. Repeat the
application after every three hours.
Read the pack insert carefully.
